About
Looslee
Looslee is built for temporary, private file delivery when email attachments, account creation, and permanent storage are not the right fit.
01 What Looslee Does
Looslee is a free web service for sharing files through short-lived links. A sender selects files in a modern browser, completes the upload security check, and receives a link and transfer code for the intended recipient. The recipient can download the files using that shared information. The service is designed for ordinary, time-limited delivery of documents, photos, videos, archives, and other files when long-term hosting is unnecessary.
Files are encrypted in the browser before upload using AES-256-GCM in the current web application. The temporary transfer is designed to expire after the sender-selected timer or after the first successful download. That makes Looslee useful for a quick handoff, not for backup, archival storage, or permanent public hosting.
02 Product Boundaries
Looslee does not require public-user accounts and does not present itself as a document-management system, collaboration suite, compliance archive, or certified data-destruction tool. Senders remain responsible for the files they share and for making sure recipients receive the transfer code or link safely. Do not use Looslee for unlawful content, regulated record retention, or any task that needs a guarantee of indefinite availability.
